It was just recently announced that the Port of Tampa has reopened following an overnight Fog Advisory closing the port to marine traffic
Previously reports, and now fully open again. Cruise ships are making their way out to sea. Thus allowing for today’s ships to dock and start the disembarkation process.
Following the port closure overnight. Royal Caribbean was left with both the Rhapsody of the Seas and Brilliance of the Seas stranded at their respective piers.

Thanks to the always Awesome Meteorologist at Royal Caribbean for keeping us all updated with the ships movements. Now that the two Royal Caribean ships are underway. It will allow for today’s arrivals to slowly make their way into port.
Fog Stranded Ships at Sea
Within a few hours, we will now see the 3 ships start to make their way into port. At present, the 3 ships are the Carnival Miracle, Norwegian Pearl, and Holland America Rotterdam. noted by a guest who is waiting to board the Norwegian Pearl and is patiently waiting at the port. It has been advised by Norwegian Cruise Line for guests to not come to the pier before 6 pm, as embarkation won’t commence until 9 pm.
