Carnival SkyRide

Carnival Cruise Lines newest open-air attraction the Carnival Skyride onboard the Carnival Horizon is currently closed for the foreseeable future.

The popular one of a kind ride which also features on the Carnival Vista has been plagued with closures on the Carnival Vista and now Horizon.

Guests who are set to depart on the ship for sailings on August 10th out of Miami, Florida, received letters and emails notifying them of the news.

“SkyRide is closed for unexpected maintenance. While we are making every effort to complete any recommended work as quickly as possible, it will remain closed until further notice

SkyRide is one of the most unique cruise ship attractions. It’s an 800-foot long, above-ground bicycle ride in which guests can pedal their way around a 2 lane track 150 feet above the ocean.

in the past, the ship has also had to close the ride due to weather conditions including high winds, which of course are completely out of the cruise lines control.
