AirShip

The Carnival AirShip has taken to the skies of Los Angeles and surrounding areas, completing its first week, delighting consumers and travel agents who have spotted it high above cultural moments, Carnival ships at the Long Beach Cruise Terminal and more.
AirshipAttendees to the Post Rose Parade Showcase of Floats in Pasadena got the first glimpse of the Carnival Airship as it flew over more than 40 floats, including Carnival’s first entry into the Rose Parade, “Come Sail Away,” a floral replica of Carnival Panorama. On Friday, employees at Carnival’s sister brand, Princess Cruises, got an up-close look at the AirShip.
AirShipThe Carnival Airship then visited one of Southern California’s most iconic attractions, the Santa Monica Pier, on Saturday. Following that, the AirShip flew overhead and said hello to guests and crew on Carnival Splendor while she was docked at the Port of Long Beach.

On Sunday, the Airship took another visit to Long Beach and floated above Carnival Imagination before making its way to Hollywood. It even got an aerial view of the Golden Globe® Awards, encouraging those on the red carpet to “Choose Fun.”
AirShipStudents at Abraham Lincoln High School in Los Angeles got a special visit from the AirShip, and travel agents were treated to a special viewing party in Redondo Beach.

But the fun is just getting started. The 120-foot-long AirShip is now headed to Orange County and will partner with Sky Zone to fly over its Anaheim location on Friday, January 11. The Carnival Airship will also be visible around Huntington Beach on Saturday as well as at the Monster Jam in Anaheim. On Sunday, the Airship will make her way to San Diego and fly over Sky Zone’s Chula Vista location.
